You will be able to borrow from both libraries from NOW!
We’re really excited that members of both South Melbourne & Middle Park and Toy Libraries will be able to access toys at both locations.
Up until now we have been running the toy libraries as two independent branches so members can only borrow toys from the branch that they had signed up to.
Opening up both libraries means you will have access to over 2,000 toys and more toy library sessions to choose from – all for the price of a standard membership.
One thing we need your help with though - you must return borrowed toys to the library you borrowed them from. We cannot assist you with transfers.

Changes to borrowing limits
We’ve listened to your feedback and will be making a change to borrowing limits. You will now be able to borrow up to 6 items. They can be toys, puzzles and games - a mix, or all of one type.
We used to specify the number of toys and number of puzzles but understand some children have different interests so we’ve taken this away. You can borrow items for up to 3 weeks.
Can you help?
We’re always on the lookout for more volunteers to assist us either in the library or on the committee so reach out if you’re interested.
It can be just a couple of hours here or there, or focusing on a dedicated project, or just one specific task like Instagram reels.
If you are keen for a discount off your next membership - you only need to volunteer for 1.5hours to qualify for a $30 discount.
To join us complete 3 simple steps:
1) Complete the Middle Park Online Membership Form
2) Make payment
3) Check your email to confirm your membership has been processed.

Donations
We seek to minimise our environmental impact by reducing, reusing and recycling so we accept good quality donations. Unfortunately we cannot accept soft toy donations. Please contact us if you have any questions about the suitability of the toys you wish to donate.
